I have a 94 Corvette convertible that makes a snapping noise when I turn left, also when I stand on the gas and then let off it makes a loud sound from the tunnel as if the part that connects the 3rd member to the trans is loose, the tie rod ends and lower ball joints in the front are both good, the car has 180,000 on the clock. I have it in the air now and am going to pull the X member to make sure that all bolts are tight that connect the trans to the link that goes to the 3rd member, is there anything special I have to look out for when I'm taking off the X brace, and are all the bolts anchored on top or am I going to have to pull the interior to hold 'em thanks for any direction you can point me in...........Mark
Established in 2008 by Chris Trautman, Corvette Web Central quickly grew into one of the top leading Corvette enthusiast websites globally.
"This website is a passion of mine, just as much as being a Corvette owner," says Chris. He was frustrated trying to find information on the internet about Corvettes which was was not biased or influenced somehow.
He has owned three Corvettes over the last twenty years and does not plan to stop owning one anytime soon.
