It won't stay in overdrive. It seems like it can't make it's mind up if it wants fourth or overdrive. I just replaced both shift solenoids. It was acting up before the replacement and after the first trip was wonderful. But then back to the samething. The service vehicle soon light has been on the whole time. I have an OBDll reader. That gave me the code the shift solenoids were bad but the overdrive was acting up for at least a year before the code came on. I had the tranny rebuilt about two years ago in hopes of this problem being fixed but that seemed like a waste of money. It does however seem to be a correlated problem with the cruise and overdrive issue. Would the tps have any bearing?
Established in 2008 by Chris Trautman, Corvette Web Central quickly grew into one of the top leading Corvette enthusiast websites globally.
"This website is a passion of mine, just as much as being a Corvette owner," says Chris. He was frustrated trying to find information on the internet about Corvettes which was was not biased or influenced somehow.
He has owned three Corvettes over the last twenty years and does not plan to stop owning one anytime soon.
