Won’t start

I have a 05 C6 w/auto trans and 50000 miles. Car won’t start. I push starter button and foot on brake. After bout 50 attempts the dash will say apply brake. If I hit brake w/o pushing button sometimes the car will start. Starter doesn’t turn at all. Sometimes when driving the DIC systems says all systems need to be checked and gas tank is empty. The radio, a/c, windows stop working. If I pull over and cut off the engine and restart everything works. I used to disconnect the battery cable and reconnect and the car would start but not now. I’ve had the button on my brake pedal replaced and the dealer has replaced various wires they said were shorting. They it for weeks. Someone help.
