wiper switch buzzing

I just pulled my 82 vette out of storage for the past 6 yrs. I put the battery charger on and soon as i made positive contact to the terminals the antenna went crazy making horrible buzzing sounds. so i pulled the fuse to make it stop then i went to turn the wipers on and it makes a loud buzzing noise coming from under the rear compartments as if its some how messing with the fuel pump. any suggestions on what would cause the wipers to not work and make the noises?
