window condensation inside vehicle just after starting

I live on the coast in Northern Cal. 1986 coupe - Whenever I start my drive, within about 5-7 minutes, all the inside of the windows fog up - I can't wipe them down fast enuf - and the defrosters don't seem to handle it well. I do not have any pics of this, just the experience.
