Will not start

I went to get in my 2003 corvette today I used the remote to open the trunk and door I got in and put the key in the switch and turn the key on and on the gadgets everything came up like normal but when i turn the key on to start everything shut off and not a sound I tried to jump start it but still no sound Help!
