will a 69 427 hood fit on a 82 vette?

I own a 82 Corvette with Crossfire injection. I am changing that out to a carb. I understand that I will need a new hood with the intake and carb I plan to use. I found a hood from a 69 427 Corvette that would give me the clearance I need. Can I use this hood with modifications? If so, anyone have an idea of what modifications would be needed? Thank you
