Water leaking from side edges of dashboard

I replaced all the rubbers on my 1985 c4 and now when it rains heavy I get water dripping from both sides of the edge of the dashboard padthe water hits the Bose speaker grills goes on the sills and then wets the carpet

Mine does the same thing and I've tried 4 different brands of weatherstripping and it still leaks. Unfortunately the OEM GM brand is no longer produced, everything I've read says you have to have the OEM made by GM to fix this problem. BUMMER!
