I cannot locate a replacement upper dashpad, color black, for my 1990 corvette. Are they still made or do I have to have professionally restored, if possible?

Dashpad center defrost vent cover will not stay snapped in place NEW
by: Anonymous

My 1992 Corvette has a slightly warped dash pad that I have been able to soften up a little to keep the center vent panel down. I have also used hook and loop by opening the glove compartment and placing the hook on the vent panel side and the loop between the glove compartment and dash pad side. Is there a better solution?

I apprecaite any comments!!

Cracked Warped Dash
by: Anonymous

Warped may ba a problem depending on how badly it is warped. There are Dash Caps that can be purcahsed and slid over cracked dashed very easily. However if you are looking for a restoration quality repair I would suggest not using the cap and replacing the dash.
