i have been having a terrible time trying to figure out what is causing the voltage to drop on completely unrelated systems such as ,the choke heater & the alternator light (l) power circuit also the cruise control, all on the hot side of each one it will read 11 volts until you hook up the wire to the item then it drops to 2 or 3 volts? when i check it through the fuse block it reads 11 volts on both sides (some read 12 volts on other circuits) & the voltage does not drop at the fuse,it seems to be losing voltage in between the fuse block & the unit it is hooked to,connections are fine, most of the other systems are fine such as lights ,starting gauges etc.
thanks for any sugestions
Established in 2008 by Chris Trautman, Corvette Web Central quickly grew into one of the top leading Corvette enthusiast websites globally.
"This website is a passion of mine, just as much as being a Corvette owner," says Chris. He was frustrated trying to find information on the internet about Corvettes which was was not biased or influenced somehow.
He has owned three Corvettes over the last twenty years and does not plan to stop owning one anytime soon.
