vette will not crank

Before I put the vette away for the winter, it ran great. I put the battery back in the other day and the starter will not even crank. I checked the neutral safety switch, replaced the selonoid, checked all of the wiring, I even hit the starter with a hammer will the ignition was on and still I don't get a crank or even a clicking noise. I have no idea what the problem can be. The vette was not touched all winter long.
