Turn Signal Replacement - Dead Battery

by Josh
(Gorham, ME USA )

I replaced my battery this spring on my 2000 C5. Been running strong for the past couple months.no dead battery issues at all. Last week both my turn signal bulbs needed replacing so I took this task on and replaced both. The next day the car was COMPLETELY dead. All I did was change the bulbs. Not sure how something so simple could have caused a dead battery over night but it's all I can think of that might even be remotely related to the reason for a dead battery. Any suggestions here? Did I put the bulbs in backwards? Thanks!
