I have a 02 corvette with climate control. Why does the A/C come on when I turn the temp knob up for more heat? I am not understanding how the climate controls work, so any help would be appreciated. Thank You

Is your defroster on? The A/C turns on to defrost the windshield. The thought is that the air is dryer after the moisture is condesned on the coils. If this is not the case you have a real strange one. Another question is this the automatic or the manual temp control system you are taling about?
