Tire replacement advice?

2002 coupe has the goodyear run flats. Front tires good, rears getting a bit worn. Thought about just replacing the rears, then wondered if changing all 4 and going without run flats would make a better ride? Seem to hear a fair amount of road noise. Know the issues then with a flat tire, but..$$
Anyone been down this road?

get runflats off as soon as possible. much better ride and noise.
