Taillight and brake lights do not come on every time

Having trouble with tail lights and brake lights on my 61 Corvette. They will come on 6 or 7 times out of ten and when tail lights don't come on brake lights don't work. Don't know if this means anything but interior light courtesy light will come on then go out with just a slight adjustment with the light switch.
