steering wheel locked car wont start

The car ran perfectly fine one day . the next day got in the car went to start it it wouldnt start and the steering wheel is now in the locked position. what kind of fix is involved and how much will it cost.

It's sounds like you need to get a lock smith and have him put in a new ignition because they are all
connected . It's not going to be cheap maybe around
$300 , my 81 was about $100 but it had regular keys
where yours i think have the chip in it .Let me know.
