starting 62 corvette

Ignition switch does not transfer power to solenoid wire in harness when turn key.

Using jumper wire from BAT to SOL wire in harness, car turns over.

New ignition switch.

Temporary wiring with ignition harness. Engine is in car and hooked up to battery, set of test gauges with amp meter,ignition and amp meter wired to harness.

Remote starter works fine, so starter and solenoid OK.
