starter is starting to go,no joke intended

looking to change the starter myself and save a little money or a lot.wondering if other components need to come out in order to access the bolts on an 1987 C4,I took a look and it seem like the exhaust is blocking the way to the bolts and there are two lines in the way as well,i think for the transmission but not sure.can you help me please and thank you.
