hey i have a 2004 ZO6 that was manufactured in October 2003, i purchased the car back in December 2016 with 22,000 miles on the clock and in very good O.E.M. condition (like new). i wanted to find out more about the car so i purchased the build sheet and window sticker from the corvette museum in bowling green ky. any way the build sheet shows all the regular production orders on it except the r.p.o. code for the heads up display which is UV6, on the build sheet there is a box for this code,it says (h/up disp) which is blank. it shows on the build sheet the car is a ZO6 with the correct vin number and the dealer order number which is also printed at the top of the service parts identification label in the glove box in the car so i know its correct for my car.any way the spi label in the glove box does not show the UV6 code for the heads up display either but the window sticker i got with the build sheet shows the heads up display as standard equipment on the car and it does show the dealer ship the car was sold at new,any way just wanted to know if any one can tell me why chevy left this code off the label and build sheet when it was standard equipment, but the label in the glove box shows everything else this car came with? figure that out? any way here are some more RPO codes that are on the label in the glove box i hope someone out there can tell me what they stand for as the museum in bowling green was no help, they are ( 1P4,VDC,VM3,FE9,NT9,SLM,1SA,1SZ). i have the factory service manuals for this car and they show all except what i posted here, hope someone out there can tell me what they mean, maybe they changed the code for heads up display and one of these are for that. any way i also have the c5 corvette book of knowledge i purchased a few years back and it does not list these codes either. thanks for any help here.
Established in 2008 by Chris Trautman, Corvette Web Central quickly grew into one of the top leading Corvette enthusiast websites globally.
"This website is a passion of mine, just as much as being a Corvette owner," says Chris. He was frustrated trying to find information on the internet about Corvettes which was was not biased or influenced somehow.
He has owned three Corvettes over the last twenty years and does not plan to stop owning one anytime soon.
