Rough Finished Door Jam Area

I'm looking at purchasing a 77 Vette and know that the factory finishing in the door jam areas is questionable. Here's a picture of the RH area below the windshield and above the door hinges. The LH area looks very similar. Would this considered to be normal? The car has been repainted and otherwise appears to be in good shape and rust free.
