98 c5. Fuel guage when at 3/4 tank goes to empty. Run car and it will return to normal at round half. Have replace left tank module, same problem.

Fuel Gauge Goes to Zero
by: Corvette web central

Your fuel gauge going to zero is a very common problem. You have already changed the left but you do not state the amount of time that has passed. Assuming that it was recent the Right side would be the next one you might want to replace. The other possibility that I was alluding to is the fuel you are using has caused the left hand side sensor to go bad but generally the left hand tank has more of a problem below or near half. GM has several TSB's on this problem. I could go into detail but the information is copyrighted.

Chevron Techron is an additive that will help this problem. Always use Top Tier gasoline. Google both of those and you will find the information you need.
