reset vats system on a 1987 c4 vette?

A little girl recently got into the car and locked herself in. While playing, she pushed every button and turned every knob that she could find. This set the alarm off, which stopped after a short time. Now the car wont start. Starter will not crank but everything else works. I do not have the owners manual. I tried. Chevy dealerships with no luck. I have also checked out many internet sites with no luck. Please help if you can. Car has been disabled for 2 weeks. Thanks, Mark.
