power window
by: Anonymous

i believe you are talking about power window ribbon;there were two setups;one used a 12 tooth motor/ribbon setup noted for failure;; other used a 9 tooth motor[different for R/L sides]and a much better style regulator that should bolt in retro fit 84-85 to 86 up style; check it out before you tear into it. You will use bolts[instead of drilled out rivets] to install it again

RE: rear defrost repair
by: Scott

Assuming request is for rear defrost strip repair. I have found a permatex repair kit at my NAPA store, and these are becoming hard to find. The kit includes electrically conductive paint to repair glass conductors that are cut or worn. Determine the lines damaged and mark them. Visually look for breaks in these lines and mask them, painting across with special conductive paint. The kit restored all my broken lines. The only other way to fix this is replace the glass, a way expensive option.
