PARK LOCK CABLE

THE PARK LOCK CABLE ON MY 1987 VETTE BROKE AND NOW THE IGNITION KEY WILL NOT COME OUT. I HAVE SEARCHED THE WEB FOR HOURS AND CAN'T FIND A CABLE NEW OR USED, IS THERE A WAY TO BYPASS THIS SYSTEM??
