Rear brake bleeding NEW
by: Anonymous

I had the same problem on my 79 like there was a blockage to the rear calipers. I cleared the lines by using the power brake booster with engine running during bleeding. No more issues!

Brake Lines
by: Corvette-web-central

We recommend inspecting your brake lines real good from front to back. Some of them can be real hard to see. Look for kinks, bends and corrosion. Next look at the rubber hoses again for any obstructions or bulges.

Next if everything looks good or you wish to make things go a little faster we suggest a Motive 0101 Pro Power Bleeder Kit
like the one shown in the link. It makes bleeding brakes by yourself a snap!

If you want a better quality one that gets great reveiws we suggest Mityvac MV6835 Vacuum Brake Bleeding Kit
Its a little more money but well worth it if you ever do brake jobs in the future. Pays for itself fast.
