No power to AC fan control

I purchased a 2004 corvette zo6 with less than 6k miles. It was involved in an accident. When I turn the key to accessory, the hvac (ac,fan control) lights up, but when I start the vehicle, the light goes out and it has no power. It does nothing. I checked the AC fuse under the hood, and it is fine. Is there a relay or other fuse that operates this? Also, I read that sometimes problems like this arise from the ignition switch. Is this a possibility? I thought of this because the key cylinder is loose. Thanks for your time.

by: Corvette web central

You may want to check your refrigerant service! Low service may cause your problem. Since you dont talk about condition of the system we are only assuming. You can get a service kit but you may have other issues that need to be dealt with. As always please communicate back so others can get some information from your problem and we can help more.
