my corvette hood is stuck on drivers side pin

I took my hood off to replace my radiator then put it back on with the align marks then went to open the hood and the pin is stuck on the latch. please help I have the side egg create off and can reach in to hood mechanism and release it about 1 inch and then it wont move any further.
