Low engine power light has been turning on cosistently

Low engine power light has been turning on consistently while driving the vette. I hit the traction control button to put the car in race mode and it went away. Anyone know what causes this to happen and how to fix it? Side note I recently replaced my stock wheels and tires with different wheels and tires from a C6 2005 (same car as mine). Not sure if this change triggered something. I have seen several post where people describe codes etc., I have never seen a number or letter code pop up.
