Location of Turn Signal Flasher on 1974

Hi

I just acquired a 1974 Corvette roadster. The manual says that turn signal flasher is supposed to connect to the fuse box up under the Drivers side dash. There seems to be only one spot for a flasher and it is the Hazard flasher which works. Someone else told me that the turn signal flasher goes up under the dash on the Passenger side. HELP!
