My 92 corvette recently had the water pump and thermostat replaced due to overheating (radiator a few years back). After the work was done the car it was still reaching really high temperatures. No blown heads so the mechanic did a bypass to cool off engine. The car was running fine over the weekend until today. During my break on lunch I moved the car underneath the shade and when I turned the key off the engine it was still running, even after taking the key out of the ignition. After a few times of turning the key off and on the car finally turned off. What could this problem possibly be?
Established in 2008 by Chris Trautman, Corvette Web Central quickly grew into one of the top leading Corvette enthusiast websites globally.
"This website is a passion of mine, just as much as being a Corvette owner," says Chris. He was frustrated trying to find information on the internet about Corvettes which was was not biased or influenced somehow.
He has owned three Corvettes over the last twenty years and does not plan to stop owning one anytime soon.
