Iridium spark plug gap for C5

by Kevin

I decided to change plugs and wires on my 2000 c5 with 31K miles.

I bought the AC Delco recommended plugs (# 41-110 )which are now iridium and not the platinum that are factory originals.

They came gapped at .040 but on the plug box it says "set gap to factory specification" which is .060 for the original platinums.

So what is the correct gap for the new iridium plugs??

Does it make any difference that the 1997 to 2000 engines are 345 hp and the 2001 to 2004 engines are 350 hp? or is the gap the same for all C5"s?

Thanks!
