Same Concern
by: Gadabout

I have 1995....new owner

Yesterday I ran her up into the mountains and as I approached the top, I was very concerned with how high the temp gauge showed. I pulled over and in just a few minutes, the temp moved down to mid range. Being a new owner I headed back down the mountain (didn't want to break down. When I got down the mountain, the temp was back to what I thought was normal. Now, it was 90 degress outside and I was running the A/C so I guess I should it should expect it to run hotter than usual.
Should I be concerned?

Only normal if you accept it!

There is always a way to improve cooling. Lower temp T stat, electric fans, better radiator.
