I changed to new batteries in my keyless entry system and nothing happens

by Gregory G. Davis
(Jacksonville, Florida)

The dealer wants to hook me up to an electrical test for a nice fee.

But a gentleman heard me and said it sounded like a remote sensor. My doors won't lock nor will my trunk pop up when switch on keyless entry is pressed.

New batteries in the keyless entries. Sounds like the remote. Where's the remote ?

I have a 1999 black convertible if this helps.

I changed the batteries, tried to retrain the key fob and still nothing. I purchased a new key fob and it will not train either?
