hood will not latch

Hi

I have a 1992 c4 corvette. When you close the hood it does not latch. I have just purchased the car. I made some adjustment to the pole that holds the hood open as it kept trying to fall. Maybe something I did there is keeping the hood from latching.

Latches my not be closing all the way, stuck open try spraying silicon lube on the latches, I don't know if there's any adjustment on them or not. Good luck.
