Battery light staying on the time. I did not have this problem until I change out the alternator. The only reason I change it because the alternator shaft had a litter wobble to it. So I did replace it for that reason. I replace it and the bear was bad in the replacement alternator. So
I replace it again and now the battery light is staying on all the time.
We I check the gages on the dash it told me have voltage. When I put my meter on the negative side of the battery to the top of the alternator I'm getting .04 ohm's. When check the battery I was 17.7 volts. Both test was done while the engine was running with everything on and running 1800rpm.
I'm at a lost at this point. Even replace the battery as well. ANY suggestion. Gary

He has owned three Corvettes over the last twenty years and does not plan to stop owning one anytime soon.
