Hi my power windows only work sometimes

Hi I have a 1979 corvette c3. Last week my power windows and air conditioning stopped working. I checked the 30 amp fuse and it's fine. Sometimes my ac starts working and when it does my windows work. When the Ac doesn't work the windows won't work. It happens a couple of times a day. I know there's got to be a short or loose wire but how and where should I check? Please help! Thanks
