Had new Fuel Pump and Sending Unit Install on my C-5

My Gas gauge quit working used injector cleaner and it worked for a while and quit again. I had the sending unit replaced. Now my gas gauge only goes to 7/8 full. The dealer claims I now have a bad gauge. Prior to the sending unit going out the gauge went to Full. The dealer wants another $900 for a new Gauge Cluster. I think its the new sending unit any thoughts?
