Gauge cluster spazing 1987 c4

I have a 1987 c4 and I've been trying to fix my guages for some time now. They turn on whenever they feel like it but they don't read anything no oil pressure no speedometer no tachometer nothing but they'll all light up from time to time they just won't read anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
