Gas smell inside vehicle when tank is filled

Check engine light came on and mechanic said it was a gas cap or fuel system failure. Replaced cap, no change and started to smell fuel inside vehicle when tank was filled up.

It's has to be your return vacuum line witch is a rubber hose line running from your your area . IT's not a easy fix because I think you will have to drop your gas tank to get at it .
