A FEW YEARS AGO WIRES CAME LOOSE AT A CONNECTOR AT THE STEERING WHEEL COLUMN, WHICH CAUSED MY 1991 CORVETTE TO not TURN OVER. I NOTICE MY SECURITY LIGHT STAYED ON WHEN I TURNED THE KEY ON ALSO. I CALLED CHEVROLET AND THEY TOLD ME HOW TO RECONNECT THE WIRES. AFTER WHICH EVERYTHING WORKED FINE. A FEW DAYS AGO. I WENT TO START THE CAR IT WOULD TURN OVER BUT WOULD NOT START? I TURNED THE KEY OFF AND BACK ON AND NOTICED I DID NOT HEAR THE FUEL PUMP. TURN ON?
AT THEnI DID THE FIRST REPAIR I WAS AWAY FROM HOME IN A STORE PARKING LOT, I HAD TO BUY SOME TOOLS AND TAPE. TO FIX THE V.A.T.S. WIRING PROBLEM. I'M THINKING MAYBE A WIRE CAME LOOSE AGAIN. THE THING THAT MAKES ME THINK THAT IS WHEN I GET IN THE CAR I NOTICE EVERY THING IS WORKING RIGHT EXCEPT THE FUEL PUMP IS NOT TURNING ON LIKE IT DOES WHEN I TURN ON THE KEY? SO DID A WIRE COME LOSE AGAIN OR WHAT? PLEASE ANY HELP WOULD BE BITCH'EN THANKS!
Established in 2008 by Chris Trautman, Corvette Web Central quickly grew into one of the top leading Corvette enthusiast websites globally.
"This website is a passion of mine, just as much as being a Corvette owner," says Chris. He was frustrated trying to find information on the internet about Corvettes which was was not biased or influenced somehow.
He has owned three Corvettes over the last twenty years and does not plan to stop owning one anytime soon.
