Front speakers don't work

Hello,

My name is Lance and I have a 1995 c4 corvette convertible and I have one question. Does this car have a amp for the front and the back?

I was speaking to a repair shop and the seem to think that the amp is blown however I have sound coming out of the rear speakers. but nothing from the front.

This is a after market stereo and I bought it with this system already installed. The PO had really no idea of anything about this car and I have been able to do most of the work that needed to be done but this one just stumps me.
