flooded 2003 corvette coupe

Super storm sandy got my beautiful 2003 corvette coupe wet... with only 50k miles car wet even when i relocated to what i thought was high and safeer ground ... told by repair shop no power working and the car may be to costly to repair are they right???

It may be to costly if they do but why don't you
try putting a new battery in and see what happens.
If it was completely flooded it will need all the fluids and make sure their is no water in the cylinders,so you half to pull the spark plugs. Then replace all your filters ,then put your battery in and see what happens .
GOOD LUCK and i hope you can do a lot of the work your self.

Even if they get everything working again. You will have problems electrically in a year or two because of corrison. Eps. If it was salt water it won't be that long.
