Engine oil for dedicated track car

I have a C7 that is a dedicated track car, but I drive it to the track and back. I used to use the Mobil 1 15W 50, but was told to switch to ESP 0W 40, because the other oil destroys the catalytic converter. Which oil should I use in my track dedicated C7 that I dive to the track and back?
