recently replaced the distributor with anew one, spark plugs, sparks, installed new fuel injectors (with all flanges included in the kit), several sensors with new ones,
now my crossfire C3 back fires when hard acceleration is needed, from driver's side intake port (flames come out)
during soft acceleration the engine works smooth and idle is steady in 900 rpm (goes to 600 rpm when D is selected to transmission)
before the replacement of the above parts, no back fire issue
all parts were replaced because of hard idle problem (not steady, rpms were continues going 600 to 900)
i would appreciate your help
Established in 2008 by Chris Trautman, Corvette Web Central quickly grew into one of the top leading Corvette enthusiast websites globally.
"This website is a passion of mine, just as much as being a Corvette owner," says Chris. He was frustrated trying to find information on the internet about Corvettes which was was not biased or influenced somehow.
He has owned three Corvettes over the last twenty years and does not plan to stop owning one anytime soon.
