electrical 97 corvette 50,000 miles

After the car warms up for a while if you let it set there and idle the lights dim every five seconds don't think its a short because it timed so perfect the engine also burps for a second took to the dealer and it wouldn't do it so they didnt do anything runs fine going down the road but i notice the lights will dim when it not under a load
