driver's door won't unlock or open when it is hot out.

Hi, I have a 2008 C6. I haven't had issues until the hot weather hit. Now, if you are inside with door button or outside with fob the driver's door will not open. I can go to the passenger side and it will unlock with Fob. Then I have to use the door release on the floor to open the driver's door.
Someone said to change the battery, but the Fob works everywhere else. Has anyone had this problem? Thanks, Elaine
