Driver side door is intermittenly dead!!

I have an 03 coupe. I've been trying to figure out why my left door goes dead. Nothing works and it's an intermitten problem. The mirrors, locks, and window will not work on the driver side door. The passenger door will work fine. This seems to be coupled with the Tire Pressure Monitoring System. Not sure if the 2 are related but that's what started the problem. Also if you could tell me how to see if one of the TPMS sensors in the tire are bad that would be helpful. I've read your write up on how to reset the sensor but I'm betting either the battery is going out in one of them or the sensor is damaged. Any info would be helpful and save me a long trip to the mechanic. Thank you
