doors lock when i close them

I have a 1992 Corvette, and everytime i close the doors they lock for no reason, this is a problem when i get out when the keys are still inside the car. Also can you tell me how i can inside this car when this happens?

Do you have an aftermarket alarm or keyless entry system? Keyless entry was not available from the factory until '93. If your locks operate after you start the car, one of these systems could be present, even if you do not have the remotes. These can be reprogrammed to not do this.
