door low at handle end

Just installed new hinge pins and bushings on my 82 vette as they were worn. the door still needs to come up at the rear (handle end). Can I get this "up" adjustment from the hinge bolts on the inside of the door or must I go to the hinge bolts on the other half of the hinge (pillar post)?
