Cruise control not working.

Cruise control will not engage unless I lift on the brake pedal. This is an automatic C5.

sounds like your disengage switch is set to close to the pedal and when you lift the pedal up it opens the switch. look at the switch and adjust it to the correct position and that should correct your problem
